We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food preparation, culinary techniques, and food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and performance.
- Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise kitchen operations.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and presentation.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent team management abilities with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Creativity in menu development and willingness to experiment with new dishes.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
