Summary

We are seeking a talented Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at The Crown at Iverley. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while creating innovative dishes that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service. Design and implement seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards. Oversee food preparation processes to maintain consistency and quality across all dishes. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively. Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or gastro pub environment. Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
