Role Overview:

As the Head Chef, you will lead our culinary team, develop innovative menus, and ensure that every dish meets our high standards. You will manage kitchen operations, including inventory, staff training, and food safety protocols, while fostering a positive work environment.

Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and service. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations. Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage kitchen budgets effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times. Implement best practices in food production techniques to optimise efficiency and quality.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen management practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse group of individuals. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences. Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
