This is a very straight forward role!
Your shift would consist of:
Arriving on time, clean, smart, prepared, in good humour, and ready for action
Setting up your work space, preparing a simple menu for service.
Preparing dishes to order during a fast paced dinner service (from a simple restaurant menu 5-8pm and Sunday lunch 12-5). Support available when needed in collaboration with chef owner.
Pack down section beautifully, clean down and create a prep list and place orders needed.

We are searching for a calm chef who can use their expertise to run a smooth service. Supporting the team through summer in, serving and helping create dishes for our restaurant menu, takeaway and dining experiences. We are interested in hiring a solid Chef, you will need experience within a restaurant setting. The successful candidate will be careful, diligent, professional and responsible for managing inventory and preparing food to order, during our takeaway and restaurant service in support of our existing team.

Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the team to develop menu ideas
Design prepare and cook to order in the restaurant
Potential to create food products for the shop
Manage and adhere to the health and hygiene procedures of the business
Manage the stock, preparation and ordering for the kitchen while on shift
Communicate with accuracy and plan with care for the smooth running of the kitchen as part of team Joyfuel

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
