Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to work with our Executive Head Chef Andrew Wilkinson. Assist in leading our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food and seafood production and a deep understanding of food safety standards. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, menu creation, and team management while ensuring the highest levels of hospitality are maintained.

Duties



Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and taste across all dishes. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste through effective stock control. Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration, creativity, and professional growth among kitchen staff.

Skills



Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service through quality food experiences.
