Head Chef/Catering Manager
Palatial Leisure which operates Palace Bingo and Casino is appointing a Head Chef/Catering Manager from December 2025.
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the kitchen and bars
- Create and develop innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with management on menu planning and cost control
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creativity and ability to develop new menu items
