We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef/Restaurant Manager to lead our culinary and Front of House team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, kitchen management, and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences for customers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of Restaurant preparation, maintain high standards of food safety, and inspire a team of kitchen staff and FH to achieve excellence. The Head Chef/Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the menu, managing daily operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
Lead and supervise the entire Restaurant team, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining consistency and quality
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet established standards
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a positive team environment and encouraging professional development
Manage front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor kitchen operations during service periods to uphold efficiency and customer satisfaction
Maintain organisation of kitchen equipment and workspaces for optimal safety and productivity
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing a team in a hospitality setting
Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
Previous restaurant management experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of culinary techniques across diverse cuisines is advantageous
Experience serving customers directly is beneficial but not essential
