We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation are maintained across the establishment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the culinary direction of our restaurant and inspire a dedicated team of kitchen staff.

Duties



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while maintaining consistency with our brand identity Oversee all food production activities, ensuring efficient operations during service periods Manage food safety standards in accordance with legal and organisational requirements Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff to enhance their skills and professional development Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards with attention to presentation Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations

Requirements



Proven supervisory experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience in food production, menu development, and restaurant operations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure during peak hours Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and management Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is essential A passion for delivering exceptional customer service through outstanding cuisine and presentation
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-39,730.86 per year
