We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to food safety. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and proper kitchen practices. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively to maximise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain equipment and kitchen facilities in excellent working condition.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team. Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, culinary arts, and kitchen management practices. Demonstrated expertise in menu development, food preparation, and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
