Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and presentation. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and the ability to manage a busy kitchen environment effectively. The Head Chef will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional cuisine and excellent service.

Responsibilities



Develop, lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation Manage food safety protocols, maintaining compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards Develop and innovate menu items in collaboration with management, catering to customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise efficiency Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and professional working environment Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times Ensure all food served meets the company's quality standards and customer expectations

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management Passion for innovative cuisine and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,553.94-48,042.58 per year
