Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to optimise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen performance, providing feedback and support to staff as needed. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Demonstrated ability in team management and supervising kitchen staff effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of hospitality principles.
