We are seeking an experienced Head Chef for an exciting position in our newly refurbished pub which will be opening in the new year. The Red Lion in Southwick is in an enviable, semi rural position with a vibrant village life and is also steeped in history. This will be a complete start up for our Chef to to create, lead, and inspire the culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and food preparation
Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, menu development, and food safety regulations
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong understanding of serving standards and customer service excellence
Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are preferred

Pay: 32,000.00-39,000.00 per year
