We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, including chefs and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth daily operations
Develop innovative menus that align with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Manage food production, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and appearance across all dishes
Implement and monitor food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and manage team performance through coaching and training
Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to optimise efficiency
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments
