Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.
Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize resources.
Develop innovative menus aligned with current culinary trends, dietary requirements, and customer preferences.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with meticulous attention to detail and timing.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper handling procedures across all kitchen operations.
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining a motivated team.
Qualifications
Proven experience in kitchen management or as a head chef within a fast-paced hospitality or restaurant environment.
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and food service management.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and dietary department standards.
Strong skills in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations including shift management.
Experience with banquet service, event catering, and large-scale food production is highly desirable.
