We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. We're an independent pub in North London with a passion for independent small batch beer & low intervention wines and are seeking a Head Chef to run a small but enthusiastic kitchen serving British seasonal food using the best produce available.
Duties
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Lead and motivate the culinary team to achieve excellence in food production and service.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and controlling waste to optimise costs.
Train staff on proper food handling techniques, safety procedures, and service standards.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous development.
Qualifications
Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
(3 Years)

Extensive food production knowledge with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead and inspire staff effectively.
Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential.
Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills.
