Kitchen Manager | ASTORIA | Salmon of Knowledge, Northern Quarter

30,900 per annum (OTE 33,000) + Tips & Service | 40 hours per week contract

With a menu focused on serving quality burgers, spice bags, & gyros, we've a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef to lead our popular guest kitchen at the Salmon of Knowledge in Northern Quarter.

Working with the Executive Chef & wider kitchen team, you'll be tasked with ensuring services are managed with efficiency, calmness & quality - whilst overseeing the daily fresh prep & general kitchen tasks. We're looking for someone who will inspire the kitchen team; help lead the operation; & ultimately grow the brand alongside us.

What's the role?:

Hold total responsibility over the safe preparation & service of all foodstuff products & the kitchen team's performance Deliver effective management of inventory & control of site's food GP in accordance with budgets Manage rotas in accordance with labour budgets Ensure the kitchen is fully compliant with EHO regulations & internal compliance requirements Hire & conduct the training of BOH team members in line with TLS criteria & values. Maximise retention through the pursuit of a positive working culture & environment Work proactively with the Operations team & site's GM to drive the success of the brand & venue
