Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking to ensure quality and consistency Develop and design creative menus that cater to diverse tastes while adhering to budgetary constraints Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction Handle any kitchen-related issues or emergencies with professionalism and efficiency

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a busy kitchen environment Strong background in food production and preparation techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals Extensive culinary experience with a deep understanding of various cooking styles and cuisines Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Exceptional leadership qualities with strong communication skills A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service
