We are a brand new bistro serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals. We are due to open mid December. Our opening hours will be

Monday /Tuesday - Closed

Wednesday/Thursday 4-9

Friday 10-9

Saturday 10-9

Sunday 10-6

Your average week will not exceed 45 hours per week. We will close Christmas Day.

A successful applicant must have previous experience with freshly prepared meals and be confident with al a carte style food. Whilst experience in a management role is a positive it is not essential. This role could be the perfect opportunity for a confident chef looking to take the next step in their career being part of a brand new team and kitchen.

Duties



Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills. Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed while minimising waste. Implement and uphold food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Handle customer inquiries and feedback regarding food quality and service.

Requirements



Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar supervisory position within the restaurant industry. Or an experienced chef looking to make the next step into kitchen management. Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation and cooking techniques. Experience in hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating a team. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
