We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. Duties
Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
Develop innovative menus that align with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Manage food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and compliance with health regulations
Coordinate daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
Train and mentor staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and service standards
Monitor portion control and waste management to optimise efficiency
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
In-depth knowledge of kitchen safety standards and food safety regulations
Previous experience in restaurant management or as a head chef is highly desirable
Familiarity with hospitality operations, including serving procedures and customer service excellence
Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
