Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are maintained. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence menu development and uphold our reputation for excellence in hospitality.

Duties



Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment Oversee food production, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences Manage food preparation processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety standards Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all kitchen activities Train staff in food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment at all times

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen setting Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and preparation Demonstrable team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality environments Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality establishment Excellent cooking skills with a keen eye for detail in food presentation Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development skills Previous experience serving customers directly is advantageous but not essential A passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences coupled with a professional attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
