We are seeking a friendly and organised Head Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth operation of the practice and a positive experience for our patients.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations to optimise the dentist's schedule.
Handle patient inquiries both in-person and over the phone, providing information about services and procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
Assist with general office duties, including filing, scanning, and maintaining a tidy reception area.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Experience
Previous office experience is essential, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting.
Administrative experience is highly desirable, showcasing skills in managing schedules and handling patient interactions effectively.
Proficiency in using computer systems and dental software will be advantageous.
A strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
