Head of Accessories

Role Description
The Head of Accessories is responsible for establishing and delivering a global, all product accessory program in line with established customer requirements and budget model.

Key Duties:

• Establish Accessory offering by identifying opportunities within existing model portfolio
• Market research and benchmarking of competitor Accessory offerings
• Liaison with LTIL (London) & AKQA to establish global Accessories message across PR, Marketing, Brand Comms etc
• Understand CMF (Design) and OXO (Product Marketing) documents across current and future models
• Working across multiple company sectors to create positive relationships - LCL (Lotus Engineering and respective departments, Lotus Design) LTIL (Commercial, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, LAP, ASO, Finance)
• Hold regular overview/meetings with Europe, US, ME, China teams
• Overview of commercial spend vs commercial return (tooling, part cost, retail, revenue, % return and profit, payback period etc
• Strategic supplier partnerships (where applicable) to maximise quality and reinforce \'brand\' status
• Monthly and weekly reviews with internal and external stakeholders
• Creation of Accessory specific fitment instructions and timings
• Selecting products, suppliers, to meet the needs of the program

• Similar role in automotive, marine or aerospace industries
• Familiar with Microsoft Programmes - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• General mechanical/automotive technical knowledge
• A good eye and understanding of creative design
• Calm, methodical, self motivated and well orgainised. Able to work to timelines & budget
• Good communicator, can liaise easily with other personnel within other departments to achieve results

• Suitable qualitifcation in Technical and Graphic Design
• Use of Microsoft Office 365
• Able to utilise CAD systems

• Must be able to work from home but be available to work at Hethel, suppliers & group facilities as required
