Head of Brand and Communications

to define a new, scalable brand strategy for the group. This is a pivotal role for a truly creative leader to proactively execute the new brand strategy in lockstep with our transformation journey to be a leading UCaaS provider for SMEs and Local Enterprise.


Requirements




The Head of Brand and Communications is responsible globally for the group's brand strategy, positioning, identity, corporate communications and how we better articulate our story. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong creative vision and a proven track record of developing and building strong and authentic brands to drive commercial growth.

Strategic Planning:



Develop and implement a scalable brand strategy in collaboration with the Executive team and marketing, ensuring successful execution. Define and communicate core brand values, mission, and vision. Create a brand roadmap, setting long-term objectives aligned with business goals. Drive the consolidation of existing brands according to the brand strategy. Conduct market research to inform strategic direction and leverage opportunities.
Establish and track KPIs for brand health.

Brand Management, Identity and Design:



Champion the visual identity for consistent messaging across all platforms. Develop and enforce brand guidelines for uniformity. Shape branding strategies for current and future acquisitions. Collaborate with agencies and teams to enhance the brand.
Lead an internal design team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Brand Positioning and Messaging:



Work with the Head of Product Marketing to ensure alignment of brand and product strategy. Develop clear brand positioning and messaging that resonates with audiences. Create a messaging framework for consistency across channels. Refine tone of voice and brand narrative.
Support initiatives like the Reseller/Partner program with targeted branding efforts.

Team Leadership and Development:



Build and mentor a high-performing brand and communications team. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation. Manage the Brand and Communications budget strategically.
Participate in the senior management team, contributing expertise to overall strategy.

Communications Strategy and Execution:



Implement communication strategies for stakeholder engagement. Lead content creation across various channels. Oversee public relations initiatives for positive brand representation. Collaborate on internal communication plans for employee engagement. Manage crisis communications to protect brand integrity.

The Person:



Proven expertise in branding and marketing, complemented by hands-on experience in a leadership position. Demonstrable track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies to deliver against ambitious commercial goals. Deep experience of leading strategic cross-company projects in brand and communications e.g. company rebranding, integration of acquisitions, development of employer branding and new internal communications strategy roll-outs. Strong leader with both creative and analytical skills. Strong eye for visual design is essential and experience of leading a design team is desirable. Proven experience with market and brand research and its use to inform decisions or content. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization. Experience in the technology sector, with exposure of working internationally. Experience in the SaaS, CPaaS, or communication sectors. Significant experience of working with stakeholders at all levels including C-suite; comfortable delivering presentations or speaking at events.
