Job Description


Step Teachers are currently working with a good school in Bromley who are looking for a head of drama. This is a full-time permanent position.
Do you have a passion for the performing arts? Are you a dynamic and creative drama educator ready to lead and inspire the next generation of actors and performers?

The Role:

  • Developing and delivering a vibrant and engaging drama curriculum that fosters creativity and skill development.
  • Inspiring and mentoring drama teachers and students alike to excel in their theatrical pursuits.
  • Organising and directing school productions and extracurricular drama activities.
  • Nurturing and guiding aspiring actors and stage crew members.
  • Collaborating with other departments to incorporate drama into the broader school curriculum.
  • Participating in school events and performances, encouraging a love for drama among all students.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in drama and education.
  • Proven experience in teaching drama and a strong track record of producing successful performances.
  • Leadership and managerial skills to lead a dynamic drama department.
  • Creative vision and a passion for fostering a love for the performing arts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity in drama education.
