Summary of Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join
TechNative
as our inaugural
Head of Skills & Bootcamps
. You'll play a central role in shaping and scaling our cutting-edge digital training programmes, leading quality, compliance, and learner experience across six industry-aligned Bootcamps -- including
Software Development, Data Analytics, Digital Video Production (Studio & AI strands), and Artificial Intelligence
.
You'll work closely with the Founder Director and our Marketing & Recruitment Lead to launch our first cohort in Autumn 2025. From January onwards, as we scale into our second wave of delivery, you'll support the onboarding of new colleagues in

Careers Guidance
, ensuring our learner support offer scales effectively with demand.

Purpose of the Role
Lead the end-to-end design, delivery, quality assurance, and safeguarding of all TechNative Skills Bootcamps, ensuring we deliver outstanding learner experiences and meaningful progression outcomes.
Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
Lead the delivery and growth of TechNative's bootcamp provision across multiple digital strands
Set annual objectives and monitor Bootcamp KPIs across strands
Drive strategic growth in line with TechNative's mission and values
Oversee compliance with DfE, Ofsted, and local authority funding requirements
Line manage the tutor and facilitator team, ensuring strong team culture and learner relationships
Curriculum, Teaching & Quality Assurance
Ensure all programmes are high quality, inclusive, and aligned to occupational outcomes
Chair monthly QA reviews; lead teaching observations and action plans
Embed RARPA, EIF (Ofsted), and continuous improvement practices across delivery
Lead safeguarding and Prevent duty compliance, acting as DSL
Work with delivery partners to ensure consistency across multi-provider models
Careers & Employer Engagement (Interim)
Provide interim oversight of progression pathways, working with our marketing and employer leads
Help shape the learner journey through ILPs, career readiness tools, and interview preparation
Support development of guaranteed interview pipelines with regional employers
Expected to transition this area to a dedicated Careers Lead from Cohort 2 onwards*
Delivery Support & Escalation
Provide backup delivery cover and escalation support across all bootcamp strands
Run tutorials or 1:1s with learners at risk of disengaging
Attend end-of-cohort showcases and represent TechNative with external partners
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience managing funded training provision, bootcamps, or adult education programmes
Proven experience of outstanding leadership of teaching and learning teams
Experience of playing a leading role in preparing for and managing an Ofsted Inspection
Deep understanding of teaching and learning, including observation and quality frameworks
Experience with safeguarding, Prevent duty, and inclusive learning design
Excellent project management and communication skills
Desirable:
Experience designing curriculum for adult learners (RARPA or other non-accredited models)
Familiarity with digital skills funding (e.g. Skills Bootcamps, LSIF, Multiply, UKSPF)
Teaching qualification (or willingness to undertake one)
Level 3 DSL safeguarding certificate (or willingness to complete prior to start date)
Line Management & Collaboration
Reports directly to the
Founder Director
Part of the senior leadership team, alongside the
Marketing & Recruitment Lead
Line manages tutors, support tutors, and (from Cohort 2) Careers and Learning Support staff
Collaborates with partners including Datacove, AIMI, Latest TV, and Silicon Brighton
Represents TechNative at learner showcases, network events, and regional employer roundtables
