Position Overview:



We are looking for a visionary Head of Social Media to lead our organic social media team. In this senior management role, you will define and execute world-class social strategies, foster a culture of innovation, and set the benchmark for creative and operational excellence across the team. You'll be responsible for overseeing the performance of our social media and team, while ensuring we stay at the forefront of social trends.



As the Head of Social Media, you will play a critical role in shaping our overall social product, aligning social strategies with client objectives, and driving performance across all platforms. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all creative output meets the highest standards, using data and insights to inform innovative strategies. This role requires someone with a bold, creative and innovative mindset who can lead by example and push the boundaries of what social media can achieve.



What are the key responsibilities for the role?


Team Leadership & Motivation: Inspire and mentor a dynamic team of social media managers and executives, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability. Drive personal development across the team, encouraging innovation and out-of-the-box thinking to deliver best-in-class results. Strategic Leadership: Define the vision for creative and strategic excellence in social media, setting world-class standards and positioning the team as thought leaders. Creative Innovation: Lead the charge on award-winning, innovative social concepts, testing new ideas and trends, and driving creativity across all platforms. Product Innovation: Responsible for defining the product vision, prioritising features and driving innovation within the organisation Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Oversee the execution and optimisation of social campaigns, ensuring content delivers on KPIs and client goals, while tracking real-time performance to continuously innovate. Operational Excellence & Best Practices: Establish and implement best practice frameworks and processes to ensure operational excellence across the social media team. This includes setting clear guidelines for workflow, quality control, and campaign execution to ensure consistency, efficiency, and high performance at all times. Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the lead point of contact for senior clients and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication, transparency, and exceeding client expectations. New Business Development: Actively contribute to new business pitches, providing social expertise to prospective clients, and helping secure new opportunities for growth. Capacity Planning & Workflow: Shape the team's workflow by managing capacity, prioritisation, and effective time utilisation. Testing & Analytics: Drive a data-driven approach to content strategy, using insights to refine campaigns and establish industry best practices in testing and innovation.


Required skills for our campers..


5+ years of experience in organic social media, with at least 2 years of managing a direct team. Proven track record in building and executing successful social media strategies, particularly within beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors. Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), with a focus on data-driven strategies. Strong creative vision and ability to turn ideas into impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and inspire teams, develop talent, and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Experience in contributing to new business efforts, including pitching and client acquisition. Experience in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to track performance and drive results.
