We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food and hospitality, with a strong background in food preparation, production, and safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation while managing a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Supervise the cooking process, ensuring dishes are prepared to specification and served promptly. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and team management skills. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and culinary techniques. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Experience in menu development and cost control measures is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
