Rix began as ship owners in the 1870's however, shipping is only a small part of what we do today. With our diverse activities range from stevedoring, warehousing, and car retailing through to fuel distribution, manufacturing, Heating services and a varied property portfolio.

Rix Gas Services are looking to expand their team, therefore have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Office administrator to support the team with the daily administration tasks associated with operating a service driven business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant will pride themselves on providing excellent customer service to our customers, both existing and new. They will have strong attention to detail when coordinating engineers diaries and it will be second nature being able to prioritise the needs of the customer accordingly when allocating work to Engineers.

The Role:



Your day-to-day duties will include:

Answering queries via phone calls and emails

Log customer calls ensuring client priorities are met

Plan Engineer's weekly workload taking into consideration client needs

Ensuring appointment documentation is sent out to customers in a timely manner

Check periodically to ensure Engineers have the sufficient and appropriate workload

Identify and escalate opportunities to improve operative performance, and process improvement

The Candidate:



The ideal candidate will have the following:

Excellent customer service experience

Good telephone manner

Ability to work as part of a team

Knowledge of working with Microsoft excel, outlook and word

Basic understanding of computerised systems

Highly organised and ability to prioritise workload

Good communication skills

Problem solver

Driving License & own transport
