Workshop Heavy Plant Fitter

Extrudakerb (Maltby Engineering) Limited are a company that specialise in the design and construction of slipform concrete (concrete safety barrier and concrete drainage systems) and extruded asphalt kerbing products (asphalt kerbing systems). The role is based at our Head Office at Denaby and is easily commutable from Rotherham, Doncaster, and the South Yorkshire region.

The Role

Maintain, service, diagnose and repair Heavy Plant Equipment, Wirtgen, JCBs, etc

Ensure completion of company documentation relating to Heavy Plant.

Use and operate workshop facilities and equipment safely in accordance with company and legislative requirements.

Must be able to make decisions and problem solve.

Fault Finding

Inspections

Fault finding and repairs on small plant will also be required i.e. multi-drill, angle grinders, etc

The occasional repairs may have to be done on sites; you will receive additional bonuses for this.

Repairs and servicing to our van fleet on an ad hoc basis

The successful Workshop Heavy Plant Fitter will have;

A professionally recognised qualification in Plant maintenance and repair - NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds or at least 2 years' experience.

Must have knowledge in finding faults on electrical systems and hydraulics/pneumatic systems.

A full UK Driving Licence.

A competitive salary.

We offer weekly pay.

Day shift Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-17.50 per hour
