We're opening a brand new Heidi Bakery in the bustling heart of Richmond Station

in January 2026

, and we're looking for an exceptional

General Manager

to lead this exciting new site!

Heidi is an expanding bakery and coffee-shop brand with 7 stores across London, Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire - and growing. Our newest location in Richmond Station is set to be one of our busiest yet, and we're searching for someone who can bring energy, leadership, and warmth to this high-footfall environment.

We bake everything from scratch in-house, using high-quality ingredients (many sourced from the continent) so our products truly stand out on the high street. From French pastries, pizzas and quiches to salads, speciality cakes and exceptional coffee. Everything is freshly prepared and beautifully presented.

Who You Are



A natural leader with a cheerful, welcoming personality Experienced in managing a cafe, bakery, or similar food & beverage operation Able to deliver consistently great customer experiences - even during peak periods Passionate about quality, cleanliness, and high standards Confident with coffee and bakery service (preferred but not essential) Strong communicator with the ability to motivate and develop a team Organised, adaptable, and ready to take ownership of a busy site Comfortable working early mornings and daytime shifts Excited to help prepare a brand-new store for opening in

Key Responsibilities



As General Manager of our Richmond Station bakery, you'll be trusted with:

Leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service every day Managing daily operations and ensuring smooth shifts Liaising closely with the Operations Manager Ensuring all front-of-house checks are completed accurately and on time Owning branch online reviews and customer communications Enforcing strict food hygiene and health & safety protocols Training and developing your team in line with Heidi brand standards Driving sales through great service, product knowledge and up-selling Managing rota planning, stock levels and general site organisation Stepping in wherever needed to keep the bakery running seamlessly Supporting additional duties as required Helping build and prepare the store and team ahead of our

January 2026
