Job Details
We require a dedicated and experienced herdsperson to join the team on a modern and progressive 360-cow robotic dairy unit on the north Cumbria coast - a stunning location with access to all local amenities, great beaches and the Lake District National Park.
The unit enjoys excellent facilities with the farm continually investing in equipment, buildings and infrastructure to maximise output and giving the best environment for both the cow and the people caring for them.
The role would entail working alongside the family, managing the GEA robots, undertaking herd health and welfare, fertility work and foot trimming and daily record keeping. You will join an enthusiastic team working alongside a farming family who are highly regarded in the local area.
In return for your effort, we offer a competitive salary with bonus schemes plus regular time off; accommodation options available also. Interested candidates can be sent a video showcasing this fantastic unit!
For an informal discussion please contact Ian Lindsay on 07802 596869.
