Due to rapid expansion WSH is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the driving team.

WSH is a family business currently operating a fleet of 70 lorries around the UK enjoying a varied job role. WSH has the majority of its own contracts that require only load security rather than having to manually load and unload their trailers.

Responsibilities

Operate tautliner and flatbed to transport goods to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer to ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with regulations. Ensuring that all loads are properly secured for transport. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry.

Experience

A valid HGV Class 1 licence (minor points considered, ideally no more than 6pts) A digital tachograph card and full CPC Minimum 6 months experience driving Class 1 Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative Good geographical knowledge Excellent customer service
