4myschools is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Colchester to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a long-term position starting ASAP and working until July 2026.

In this role, you will work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Requirements:

To be considered, you should hold an HLTA qualification or have equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum. You'll need to be confident managing a classroom and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

You'll be confident leading whole-class sessions, delivering targeted interventions, and supporting pupils across a range of year groups.

The school is looking for someone who can bring energy, flexibility, and a nurturing approach to the classroom.

Right to work in the UK A genuine passion for supporting children. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). A minimum of GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 (C) AND work experience as a HLTA, OR a HLTA qualification

Pay: 105.00-115.00 per day
