Job Opportunity: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - 1:1 Home-Based Support

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and confident self-employed

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

to provide high-quality, personalised educational support to children in their own homes. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life by delivering 1:1 tuition, emotional support and learning guidance tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 teaching and support in the home environment, following a personalised learning plan under the guidance of a qualified teacher Adapt lessons to suit the child's learning style and educational needs Use your HLTA-level knowledge to offer creative and engaging approaches to learning

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Holds HLTA status or equivalent Has experience supporting children with additional or complex needs (SEND, SEMH, etc.) Is confident working independently in home settings Has excellent communication and safeguarding awareness Demonstrates empathy, resilience, and flexibility in a one-to-one setting Holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle

Please note - most primary jobs are taught in 40 minute blocks and pay is pro-rata. Most work will be after school time on an evening.
