who are looking for a dedicatedHigher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
to join their team on afull-time basis
.The Role:
As an HLTA, you will:
Oversee small classes
of pupils withSEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)
andAutism
Deliver and support learning activities planned by the teacher - and occasionally plan lessons yourself Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have had disrupted or negative experiences of education Use de-escalation, patience and empathy to support pupils through challenging moments Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals to ensure each pupil's needs are metWhat We're Looking For:
An experienced
HLTA
or an experiencedTeaching Assistant
ready to step up Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils withSEMH and Autism
Calm, resilient and emotionally robust Able to build rapport quickly and maintain clear, consistent boundaries Committed to helping young people re-engage with learning and reach their potentialWhat's On Offer:
