who are looking for a dedicated

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

to join their team on a

full-time basis

.

The Role:

As an HLTA, you will:

Oversee small classes

of pupils with

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)

and

Autism

Deliver and support learning activities planned by the teacher - and occasionally plan lessons yourself Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may have had disrupted or negative experiences of education Use de-escalation, patience and empathy to support pupils through challenging moments Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals to ensure each pupil's needs are met
What We're Looking For:

An experienced

HLTA

or an experienced

Teaching Assistant

ready to step up Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with

SEMH and Autism

Calm, resilient and emotionally robust Able to build rapport quickly and maintain clear, consistent boundaries Committed to helping young people re-engage with learning and reach their potential
