Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking flexible and rewarding work in Sittingbourne and the surrounding Medway area?

About the Role

As an HLTA in Sittingbourne, you will:

Support the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons Lead small group interventions and occasionally cover whole classes in the teacher's absence Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their learning goals Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents to promote a supportive learning environment Contribute to the wider school community through teamwork and initiative
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong classroom experience, confident in leading learning, and passionate about helping young people succeed.

Key Requirements

HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a UK school Strong classroom management and confident communication skills Experience supporting teaching and learning within a school setting A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UK and ability to provide recent, relevant references
