Hire Compliance Administrator - Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd



Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) are the UK's leading dedicated provider of refuse vehicles. Our growing portfolio of services includes the supply of new, quality used or electric converted refuse vehicles, vehicle remanufacturing, vehicle repairs and servicing, a nationwide mobile engineer network, breakdown service, parts and tyre departments, finance, and vehicle transportation.

We are looking for a Hire Compliance Administrator to join our team and support our Hire department providing administrative support for the business.

Key Responsibilities include:



1. Inform hire team of vehicle availability.

2. Get updates from service department on vehicle availability.

3. Engage in telephone calls in a courteous and polite manner.

4. Gain order numbers and use them appropriately.

5. Send contact information to new customers.

6. Email customers to book in services and MOT advising on collection date.

7. File compliance documents in the appropriate folders, teams etc.

8. Liaise with our HGV drivers and provide them with the relevant information.

9. Prepare and send/receive a range of emails.

10. Understand and be able to utilise our in-house IT system tracker.

11. Learn and understand how to operate Accelerator our in-house data base.

12. Use excel to prepare spread sheets which will provide us with forecasting information.

13. Preparing a range of work documents and hire contracts for customers.

14. To understand the managers roles so additional support can be given when the manger is away from work.

15. Take photos of vehicles and file the photos on our system.

16. On occasion, handover vehicles to customers.

17. The successful applicant will have a can do, proactive and enthusiastic attitude.

18. Full training will be given on our own IT systems tracker, Accelerator and N drive.

19. To undertake any other relevant duties that may be delegated by the Compliance Manager.

Key Skills:



Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Strong organisational skills.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills.

Attention to detail in all areas.

General Information:



Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8.30am-5pm)

Permanent contract (6-month probation period)
