is looking for an experienced HIU Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team, delivering high-quality maintenance services across residential developments in London. This is a long-term opportunity offering job security, technical development, and career progression.
We are looking for an individual with hands-on expertise in servicing and repairing Heat Interface Units (HIUs), ideally with training in Grundfos HIU systems and a strong mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and repair of Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
Conduct regular maintenance checks on the Heat interface unit and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Commissioning of HIUs, meter replacement and testing
Carrying out pipework repairs and basic electrical tasks within HIUs
Working on low-pressure, low-temperature heating systems
Interpret manuals to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
Helping out other maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Maintain accurate records of receipts from suppliers if parts purchased
Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Ensuring all work meets safety regulations and is delivered to the highest standard
Attending out-of-hours callouts when required
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in HIU and FCU maintenance
Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and residential building services
Familiarity with Evinox, Kamo, and Grundfos HIUs is advantageous
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Customer-focused with strong communication skills
A mechanical engineering degree is preferred
Valid UK driving licence is a plus
