We are seeking an experienced and passionate Home Manager to join our team supporting the Registered Manager in leading the service. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the lives of young people while advancing your career in a supportive, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operations of Maple House, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.

Provide leadership and guidance to care staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.

Assist in the development of care plans, risk assessments, and reviews to meet the individual needs of each young person.

Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people in accordance with legal and regulatory frameworks.

Collaborate with external agencies, families, and professionals to ensure positive outcomes for all children.

Ensure that the home adheres to relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care or equivalent (this is essential).

Previous experience working in a children's residential care setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role.

Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to supervise and manage a team.

Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and experience in inspections.

Full Enhanced DBS check is required.
