Part time job vacancies available, 10-20 hours per week (12.50 per hour)school term time only
vacancies for home to school drivers
This roles require full DBS checks to be completed before work can commence. This can take from 2 to 12 weeks. Immediate starts once checks are complete.
Duties to include
(Driver)
Working alongside the assistant ensuring a safe journey to and from school.
Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle
Following safety procedures for individual routes and schools
Performing vehicle inspections and keeping written records
Reporting any vehicle defects to management.
Desirable Qualities
Kind and friendly manner - good relationships with our service users, parents and teachers are essential.
Reliability - our service users need consistency with their transport teams.
Punctuality - it is essential that our journeys arrive on time, every time.
Patience - Many of our service users have additional learning needs. Emotional, physical, behavioural and can display challenging behaviours.
Flexibility with hours. Pupils sometimes require collecting before their allocated times
Drivers must have held a full licence for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
If Successful, applicant drivers
will be required to obtain a private hire taxi licence.The cost of this will be covered.

Monthly pay. No cash in hand.
