We are looking for an organized and proactive Hotel Duty Manager to oversee daily operations across our portfolio of apart-hotels and serviced accommodation properties in Edinburgh. This role involves managing front-of-house activities, coordinating housekeeping and maintenance, handling guest communications, managing inventory, and supporting our digital presence through social media.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage daily guest operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and addressing guest inquiries.
Liaise with external service providers (cleaning, laundry, and maintenance) to ensure consistently high standards of property upkeep.
Monitor inventory levels of essential supplies, ensuring properties are fully stocked at all times.
Manage guest communication channels effectively, ensuring prompt responses and high customer satisfaction.
Support digital engagement through social media platforms to enhance the properties' online presence.
Participate in regular operational meetings and provide concise reports on property performance and guest feedback.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Previous experience in hotel operations, serviced apartments, or similar hospitality environments preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple properties effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
Basic knowledge of property management systems and digital tools advantageous.
Mandatory full UK driving license; preference for candidates with their own car.
Flexible availability with part-time or full-time hours depending on experience and business needs, including occasional evenings and weekends.
