We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming environment. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring all items are well-presented. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure proper organisation of cleaning supplies. Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism.

Skills

Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, showcasing familiarity with hospitality standards. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleaning standards. Janitorial experience is beneficial, demonstrating knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff members.
