Hotel Night Porter
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to join our expanding team
The Night porter will be responsible in the hotel from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m (8 a.m Saturday & Sunday)
Duties of a night porter include but are not limited to;
We require a friendly , helpful individual to providing various guest services from greeting visitors/guests, check-in new guests out of hours and for those checking out early , bar service out of hours and some room service.
The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as part of a team
You will need to ensure public areas are clean and tidy with some cleaning duties.
You will be need to be creative when setting up function rooms for a host of different events from meetings, seminars, dinners, weddings, proms and balls, including table linen, glassware and crockery and also break these events down afterwards.
You will also perform security patrols and ensure the building's safety and security.
Other duties as required
Previous experience is desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.51 per hour
