Reporting to the Front of House Manager, it is important that this person brings a professional work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude, an unquestionable drive to succeed, is trustworthy and reliable.
Duties:
Delivering a great guest experience.
Welcoming late guests to the hotel - checking them in and allocating the right rooms.
Listening to guests, managing any requests or issues with genuine warmth and interest.
Working together with your colleagues to make sure you deliver consistently great service.
Writing a clear handover for the next shift.
Performing financial night audit procedures
Keeping your customers safe by following health and safety procedures.
Regular fire & safety and security walks during each shift.
Ensuring internal noise is kept to a minimum.
Keeping your line manager up to date with any problems and follow up where necessary.
Cleaning the public areas of the hotel and any other areas specified by the team you hand over with.
Set up the hotel, including functions rooms and events ready for the next day's trading.
Anticipate problems and offer solutions before they escalate to something bigger.
Assist the F&B department with early morning breakfasts and some late night bar cover
