We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Night Porter to join our team. As the Night Porter, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. You will also assist guests with any requests and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the hotel.
In this role you will be expected to work to the highest standards, delivering an efficient and welcoming atmosphere throughout the night shift for all our guests.

Main Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to guests during the night shift, addressing inquiries and fulfilling requests.
Ensure the security of the hotel by conducting regular patrols and monitoring access points.
Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs, including handling payments and issuing room keys.
Set up and clearing and prepare public areas, such as the restaurant, for the following day.
Preparing and / or clearing event spaces as per setup requirements for weddings and events.
Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including cleaning tasks.
Respond to emergencies and report any incidents to the Night Manager or relevant department.
Deliver newspapers, room service orders, or other items to guest rooms as needed.
Complete administrative tasks, such as logging incidents and preparing handover reports for the morning team.
Responsible for the close of operations for the day.
Be aware of all technical installations in the hotel as well as the hotel security and alarm systems.
Be environmentally aware and dispose of waste according to hotel standards.
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, health and safety and food safety legislation.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support the team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other colleagues.
Essential Criteria:
Experience in a similar customer service, security or Nightporter position
Physically fit due to the physical nature of this role
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle night shifts.
Basic knowledge of hotel operations and safety procedures.
A friendly and professional demeanor.
Eligible to live and work in the UK.
Be able to converse in English.
