Crown Spa Hotel Scarborough blends Victorian charm with modern luxury on the scenic Yorkshire coast. The award-winning spa offers a tranquil escape with various treatments, while the leisure centre features a 40ft indoor pool and a gym. Each of our 116 bedrooms, from standard to executive, are designed for comfort and style, with many boasting breathtaking views of the sea. We are on the search for an enthusiastic, passionate, and dynamic individual to join us as a Reception Supervisor.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional individual to lead our reception team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be the face of the hotel setting the tone for a five-star guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

>This role includes Duty Manager shifts across the hotel.

>Supervise and support a team of receptionists, ensuring excellent service delivery at all times

>Oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and guest satisfaction

>Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and professionally

>Train, coach, and motivate front desk staff

>Assist in preparing departmental rotas and manage holiday requests in line with business needs.

>Liaise closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure seamless operations

>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, room types, and rates

>Carry out end-of-day banking and daily reports accurately

What We're Looking For:

>Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hotel reception/front office team (minimum 1 year preferred)

>Confident leader with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service

>Organised, proactive, and calm under pressure

>Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor

>Good knowledge of PMS systems (experience with Guestline/Rezlynx is an advantage)

>Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early and evening shifts during weekdays weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour
