Horizons Residential Care Limited is a well-established residential childcare provider based in the East Coast of Scotland and have been providing residential childcare service since 2013.
The company has undergone major restructuring since 2020 with a view to enhance the standards and quality of care provision to our Service Users and Local Authorities across the UK. The company has recently acquired new premises and are opening new residential facilities in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Consequently several vacancies are available - House Managers, Assistant Managers, Senior Residential Care Workers and Residential Care Workers.
The Registered House Manager will be responsible for one of our registered houses which normally cares for up to 4 young persons on a 1:1 care basis. The House Manager will be assisted by an assistant manager and a Senior Residential Care Worker and a team of Residential Care Workers.

Education, Qualification and Experience
SVQ 4/SQF Level 9 Children and Young People and HNC or other relevant qualifications which meets SSSC requirements.
Minimum of 2 years' experience at a management level
Experience and Evidence of undertaking a supervisory role in relation to staff within Children Residential Care environment.
Full UK Driving License is essential.
Normal Working Hours: Monday to Friday with some flexibility to provide evening and weekends cover to suit the needs of the service
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and proven track record of successful Leadership and Management.
