We are looking for a new housekeeper to join our team. The housekeeper role involves cleaning and maintaining of our holiday rental properties between guest stays. Focusing on deep cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms/kitchens),? restocking supplies,?checking amenities, and?reporting maintenance, breakages and damage your supervisor. This is the perfect opportunity for a self-employed individual offering flexible working hours and competitive remuneration. A drivers license and own vehicle are needed for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning:?Thorough cleaning of all rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas), including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and window cleaning.
Guest Preparation:?Making beds, restocking toiletries, amenities (tea, coffee, toilet paper, etc.), and ensuring welcome packs are present.
Maintenance & Inventory:?Checking and reporting maintenance issues (lights, appliances, damage) and monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies.
Property Upkeep:?Keeping communal areas, outdoor spaces (patios, bin areas), and furniture clean and tidy and checking condition of garden.
Health & Safety:?Adhering to hygiene standards, COSHH requirements and reporting any concerns.
Essential Skills & Traits:
Previous cleaning/housekeeping experience preferred.
Driver's license and own transport required.
Exceptional attention to detail and high standards.
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
Flexibility with working hours (weekends/holidays).
Good communication skills for reporting issues.
