Job Purpose:
To ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to an outstanding guest experience during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service guest bedrooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
Replace linens, towels, and amenities as per hotel procedures.
Make beds, vacuum floors, and dust furniture.
Replenish room supplies such as tea, coffee, and toiletries.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost property to the supervisor.
Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines at all times.
Handle guests' belongings with care and respect privacy.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
Support colleagues and assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.
Clean public areas of the hotel.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good time management and organisational skills.
Physically fit - able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Basic English communication skills.
Working Conditions:
Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
