Purpose of the Role
You will play a key role in supporting R.E.A.C.H strategy by managing the end-to-end recruitment process and providing efficient, high-quality HR administrative support. This role combines hands-on recruitment delivery with generalist HR administration to ensure that R.E.A.C.H attracts, retains, and supports the very best staff in line with its values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Resourcing
Work in partnership with Operations Managers and Home Managers to identify current and future recruitment needs.
Proactively source candidates through community outreach, job boards, social media, and local colleges.
Prepare, post, and maintain engaging job adverts and recruitment marketing materials.
Manage all stages of the recruitment process - from advertising roles to onboarding candidates.
Coordinate interviews, assist with shortlisting, and conduct screening interviews (by phone).
Obtain and verify employment references and complete DBS checks.
Produce offer letters, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
Maintain accurate recruitment data, producing weekly statistics and reports on key metrics such as vacancies, turnover, and source of hire.
HR Administration
Maintain up-to-date and accurate employee files and records in line with data
protection requirements.
Provide administrative support to the Senior HR Administrator, as required.
Assist with payroll and employee changes by providing accurate data and documentation.
Ensure effective filing systems, confidentiality, and information security across all HR documentation.
Support wider office administration, including mail handling, telephone enquiries, and general office coordination as needed.
General Duties
Promote R.E.A.C.H's values, mission, and commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Attend meetings, training, and development opportunities as required.
Support continuous improvement in HR and recruitment processes.
Undertake any other reasonable duties relevant to the post, as directed by the Senior HR Administrator or Assistant Operations Director.
Person Specification
Essential:
Experience in recruitment and HR administration
Excellent written and oral communication and good interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Empathy with the aims and values of R.E.A.C.H
Knowledge and experience of DBS and right to work checks
Desirable:
Experience of working with people with Leaming Disabilities or within the care sector
CIPD Level 3 or working towards it or a similar qualification
